Our school is a fantastic place to improve your knowledge and meet many new people. Although the building is quite big and it’s easy to get lost, you can easily make friends. There are three years of studying. Pupils start school when they are 13 and finish it when they are 16. There are 6 grades in one year (departments). Each of them has a different major. Grade “A” has a Mathematics specialization, grade “B” and “D” are onto Science, grade “C” is for future journalists, grade “G” is bilingual, and grade “I” is a sporty one. About 600 to 630 students attend  our school. There are about 55 teachers including the headmaster and stuff. You can learn 3 foreign languages in our school. First is Italian, this is a main language of bilingual grade (they’re starting with elementary level, finishing at quite advanced one). There is also English, which is thaught in each class. The third language is German,  this is an optional subject for any grade (except  for “G” grade): pupils can choose between German and Italian. Our school prepares for final exams  very well  and many students  get to good high schools. We also take part in many competitions, especially basketball : our team is one of the best in the district. Our patron is National Army which was formed during the World War Two. That’s why we organize and participate as well in many competitions connected with it.  Anyway, our school offers many extra activities such as “school guides of Wroclaw circle meets” and many other classes such as sport, art and science.  Being a student of our gymnasium you can take part in interesting educational trips and in international exchange with pupils from Italy and other countries. 

Our school is situated in Northen Moravia, in the Down Prerov. We have a nice school where education runs in several buildings in four different places.

150 pupils in 18 classes attend our school,three of these classes are in Primary special school, one in Primary in hospital, one in Nursery school.The number changes in the core of the year, this number depends on the frequency that pupils transfer from common primary school.

Primary practical school is intended for pupils with slight mental handicap, possibly with compound handicaps. Most of the students are educated here. There are 13 classes all over the building with Internet connection. We have very good conditions for education of health disadvantaged pupils.There is a big school playing field and a volleyball field.

Primary special school is intended for pupils with a severe mental

handicap, with more handicaps and for the autistic pupils.

Primary school in a medical institution. If it is possible, each pupil is educated according to the educational programme of their school. This school has two functions: keeps the continuity of the educational process and it is the part of therapy.

Our target is to prepare the pupils for life, to provide them with the most important

knowledge and competence, to teach them how to operate in various life situations; solve the practical topics.

Familiar and friendly could be two most important words to describe our school. The small size gives everyone an opportunity to know each other so it is almost impossible to meet someone you don´t know. There are two main study programs at school, a four-year study which students start when they are 15 and finish at 19 and an eight-year study which students start when 11 and finish at 19. It is a vivid place, a mixture of running kids to seriously looking young ladies and gentlemen. About from 300 to 350 students attend the school, there are abotu 30 teachers including the headmaster and his deputy and a few teachers who teach only some lessons, like religious study or Art. Three foreign languages are taught at our school, –the first language which all students learn is English, then tehy can choose from German or Russian. Most students continue their studies at universities as we provide general education to prepare students for further education. So far, our students have achieved good results in various competitions, one of them brought a few medals from the World Olympiad in Mathematics. After school every student can choose an extra curricular activity, most of which include sport, excursions or creative stuff.
